Don’t Let Your Friends and Family Live in Denial

Life

Recently, the U.S. Senate voted whether the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would advance to the floor for a vote. It didn’t advance. This bill provided additional protection to babies born alive during a failed abortion attempt. Yet again, there was pure denial in D.C. that babies ever survive an abortion (they do—just ask Melissa Ohden, our 2017 Stand Up For Life Dinner keynote speaker) or that a born baby has the rights all humans do. It goes back to the basic denial of an incredibly horrific fact—abortion is murder of a human, whether it’s first, second, or third trimester, and certainly after the baby is born. Please thank Senators Bob Casey, Jr. (D-PA) and Pat Toomey (R-PA) who voted for the Born-Alive Act.

Many in America can’t face the awful truth that if we have committed, encouraged, or allowed abortion, then we have participated in the murder of a defenseless human being. This year in Pennsylvania we’ll hit two million abortions since Roe v Wade, with nearly half of them occurring in Greater Philadelphia.  It’s too hard to accept that fact, so many come up with a story: it’s not a baby, we had no choice, or pro-lifers are exaggerating. However, facts are facts, and it’s time to face them. A survivor of abortion, a third, second, and a first trimester unborn baby are all humans.

Help someone come to reality and stop denying. Bring an “on the fence” family member or friend to see the Unplanned movie on March 29. Watch the Gosnell movie again (or for the first time). Please get out there and act by heading to an abortion center near you to join the 40 Days for Life campaign.
