Bishop Bars “Catholic” Pro-abortion Politicians from Holy Communion

For years faithful Catholics have been frustrated over the fact that politicians who claim to be Catholic but support and promote abortion have been able to receive the precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ in Holy Communion giving the false impression that you can be a ‘good, practicing Catholic’ and still support the killing of preborn children.

I’m so thankful for Bishop Paprocki for his willingness to take a stand and deny Holy Communion to these politicians, and I’m hoping others will find the moral courage to do the same.

Please read the message below from Gary J. Isbell of Tradition Family Property and sign their petition to support Bishop Paprocki.

Bishop Paprocki

Bishop Paprocki, leader of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois, has barred from Holy Communion, two “Catholic” state politicians in leadership positions, who worked to pass Illinois’ new, radical abortion law.

After months of other pro-abortion “Catholic” politicians getting a “slap on the wrist” and “stern talkings-to” from other U.S. bishops and Cardinals over their promotion of abortion, Bishop Paprocki is to be highly commended for taking such action.

This petition will send a message of support to the good bishop, showing him that faithful Catholics actually appreciate it when their shepherds lead on difficult issues, like abortion.

Our good friends at Life Site News have taken excellent initiative to offer support to Bishop Paprocki and I felt this would be a good opportunity for you to do so too.

Please offer your support to a faithful shepherd; they too need encouragement!

The history of The Church & the world since the mid 1800s gave warnings of the current time of distress, ambiguity, and peril for souls. We must remember that not all who say, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will inherit The Kingdom of God. Coffers are filled with money changers metaphorically buying ‘Roman image’ coins of those complacent toward or part of the culture of death. One of the reasons why Jesus Christ cleansed The Temple was the money changers selling shekels & copper coins worth of Temple offerings at an uneven exchange rates for coins with Roman images. Spiritually, history has repeated, which is why we see so much ambiguity & ‘human respect,’ it dire moral circumstances. Ref. “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,’ which airs from time to time on EWTN since the Autumn of 2016. This is *not* good for raising awareness for the salvation of souls. Peace.
