Pro-Life Union Honors Sidewalk Servants and Group Leaders at Annual Volunteers’ Dinner

Volunteers' Dinner

The Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia held its annual volunteers’ dinner on August 21st at St. Anthony’s in Ambler.

Temple Students for Life

Last year’s attendance had a low turnout of fifty. This year that number more than doubled to 120 with many young and rising stars in the movement that include campus group leaders at local colleges and even young adults.

The evening was filled with a savory meal prepared by Anne Hinnegan. The seasoned pro-lifers had an opportunity to meet the young activists and learn hat are they doing to defend and build a culture of life while sharing their own pro-life stories.

Msgr. McHenry of St. Anthony’s took time to thank all for coming and was gracious to allow them to use the facility underneath their church.

“You are the invisible army of the Catholic Church.” Msgr. McHenry encouraged. “Keep fighting for those who have no voice.”
