Saddest Place in Philadelphia: Recap of what one Sidewalk Servant saw at Philadelphia Women’s Center during 4th Saturday Vigil

If you need a reason to come and bring your loving self and prayers to the largest non-Planned Parenthood affiliate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, here’s a word on the frontlines.

Today, while praying in front of the facility, which sits five floors above a daycare, there was a steady number of women entering the facility. By the time my shift ended, 28 women have entered the facility. A majority of them that entered were black. It breaks my heart as I have never seen a Saturday like this in my eight years of praying in front of the facility.

The good news is that a couple walked away from the facility without looking back.
