Eat More Chicken? Or Political Correctness

In nearly two decades, Chick Fil A has been rising to be one of the top fast-food chains in the United States. What sets them apart from other chains like McDonald’s and Burger King is their Christian values such as being closed on Sunday.

In 2012, we will never forget how the organization came out against gay marriage. Some thought it would have the franchise drop from grace. However, it only fueled their profits steadily.

Recently, Chick Fil A announced that it is withdrawing funds from the Salvation Army over controversial issues. Many people thought it was a smack in the face to their loyal customers. However, according to Catholic Stand, Salvation Army has been connected to Planned Parenthood. This is a true controversy as we also approach #GivingTuesday in less than two weeks’ time. So the question is, do we criticize Chick Fil A for chickening out, or do we hold charities, like the Salvation Army, accountable for supporting a notorious and demonic organization? The choice is yours.
