Please Contact Your Elected Officials: Abortion Facilities are Not Essential Businesses

The following is from Sandy Slater, President of the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition.  Links are provided in this post for the Pennsylvania governor and legislators. (Those who live in other states can find your elected officials information on the web.)   Leave your message for them along with your name, address (so they know you are in their district) and phone number to let them know how you feel.  It’s time the abortion industry is made to realize that they are not above the law and deserve no special privileges!

This is an activity that is requested of you.

Other states are doing this.  PA tends to see what “other” states are doing and whether they succeeded.  In both cases:  Maryland and Mississippi, the governors are ordering the close of abortion clinics.  I intend to contact our governor’s office (we may not be able to get through because I tried it this week) or my representative to request the same.  Please do this activity.  It is worth a try and ask for a response.

Those of you who attend the BCPLC meetings received a list of the legislators at the meeting or you can use the links provided below.

Other governors have issued similar orders limiting non-essential medical procedures.  Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Ohio included abortion facilities in their bans on non-essential surgeries and procedures.
