Tell Gov. Wolf to Shut Down All Abortion Facilities in PA

The following is a statement from Mike McGonagle, President of Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition. This is being shared to the blog with his permission

Our organization urges Gov. Wolf to act consistently with his directive for Pa. health facilities to cease all elective surgeries by directing the closure of all of Pa.’s free-standing abortion facilities.

Our organization’s President, Michael J. McMonagle, explained the reason for this action.

“Pregnancy is not a disease and therefore, abortion is not required surgery.  Even abortion facility operators admit that most surgical abortions are elective.

“A non-elective abortion would be one of the exceptions authorized by Pa.’s ban on post-24-week gestation abortions.  Hospitals would remain available for non-elective abortions.”
