Live Stream the Stations of the Cross with Pro-Life Action League

From Eric J. Scheidler

Every year on Good Friday, the Pro-Life Action League hosts a nationwide event known as the “Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion” outside abortion facilities across the country.

This year’s event was on track to top over 100 locations when the COVID-19 pandemic struck.

To allow this cherished annual event to go forward while preventing the spread of the coronavirus, I’m inviting all my pro-life friends to participate in a “virtual” version of this event on Good Friday.

At 10 a.m. CT this Friday, I will live-stream the “Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion” with my family outside the Planned Parenthood mega-center in our home town of Aurora, Illinois.

The Way of the Cross will be broadcast live on the Pro-Life Action League Facebook page. I’ve attached a prayer booklet for you to pray along with.

Just print out the prayer booklet, log into Facebook a couple minutes before 10 a.m. Central Time on Friday, and together we can pray for an end to abortion.

(And by the way, you don’t have to have a Facebook account to watch the live stream. Just go to the League page on Friday to watch.)

If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s how much more our lives are knit together than we realized — how dependent we are upon one another.

The most dependent of all is, of course, the unborn child. May this moment deepen our sense of solidarity with our unborn brothers and sisters!

That will be my prayer during the live-streamed pro-life Way of the Cross on Friday. I look forward to praying together with you!
