Prayer Campaign for Politicians Ends, but We Should Never Stop Praying for Lost Souls #onesoulatatime

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”   John 3:16

“I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.  And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.”  John 11:25

Voices for Life dedicated six weeks from May 11th thru June 15th to pray for political leaders.  Intercessory prayers were focused on the following politicians: NY Gov. Mario Cuomo, Rep. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Ocasio Cortez, PA Rep. Brian Sims and PA Gov. Tom Wolf.  The first and most important prayer for these lost souls is salvation.

Many books have been written about miraculous conversions to Christ.  Intercessory prayers, sometimes for decades, precede salvation of a loved one. Such was the case with, Monica, the mother of St. Augustine.  After many years of praying for her son, Augustine left a sinful life.  He converted to Christ to become one of the greatest theologians of the Catholic Church.

Rev. Chuck Wilson is pastor of New Hope Community Church. Pastor Chuck and his wife Kim are the parents of 14 children.  He has participated in many pro-life events at Warminster Planned Parenthood.  Recently, he preached a sermon on the Book of Daniel 4:28-38.  His message concerned the evil Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar who enslaved the Jews and destroyed Jerusalem.  Pastor Chuck recounts how God brought this proud, cruel ruler to his knees in repentance. God’s message to us is clear. No one is beyond redemption.
