Purpose: To hold a solemn gathering of churches in conjunction with the 2020 Prayer March organized by Franklin Graham happening at the National Mall in Washington, DC on September 26th. Graham states our nation is in trouble and we need God’s help. At this most critical time in America, we are lead to organize a multi-denominational group to humbly come before God in prayer and repentance for our sins. To confess the sins of ourselves as individuals, the church, and our nation as the Lord has instructed us to do.
This two hour prayer event will include worship and pastors/clergy representing Bucks County from across denominations leading prayer and focusing on scriptures following the Christian method of prayer, ACTS:
• Adoration: Give God praise and honor for who he is as Lord over all.
• Confession: Honestly, humbly deal with the sin in your life, the life of the church, and nation.
• Thanksgiving: Verbalize gratitude
• Supplication: Pray for the needs of others , the church, and our nation
“We are asking that all join us, as this is the most critical time in America we have seen in our lifetime!” Franklin Graham
“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.(2 Chronicles 7:13-14)
“Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:19-20).
