Your Prayerful Presence at Planned Parenthood Does Save Lives…

“Standing and holding a sign doesn’t seem like much, but we have no idea the impact we have on those who see us,” said the local leadership team.

Think your prayers and presence at your local abortion site doesn’t reach abortion-minded women and saves babies? Read the account below of just one of many unborn babies saved during a 40 Days for Life campaign.

A young woman pulled up to the 40 Days for Life vigil in Fayetteville, North Carolina to talk with a vigil participant.

I just wanted to show you my miracle baby. She’s now four years old,” the woman said. “When I was pregnant, I was scheduled to come here for an abortion.”

At the time, the little girl’s father had just left the family, and the woman thought abortion was her only option.

I saw you guys standing out here and I chose LIFE instead,” the mother continued. “Now, I’m married with four children. What y’all do out here makes a difference!”

The encounter was a powerful reminder that God answers prayers–even if we don’t always see it right away.

“Standing and holding a sign doesn’t seem like much, but we have no idea the impact we have on those who see us,” said the local leadership team.

Sometimes it takes months–or even years–to learn that your presence made an impact. But moms and dads are returning to 40 Days for Life vigils around the world to say “thank you” to prayer warriors for saving their babies!

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.Psalm 127:3

Heavenly Father, please keep me from taking for granted the gift of children. Help us to remember this heritage that you have given us. Make us faithful stewards of these precious lives, that each generation might be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
