COVID Vaccines and the Hypocrisy of our Church Scholars

Hypocrisy

While driving to Mass yesterday I was listening to a Catholic radio station that was giving a news report stating ‘Catholic Scholars’ have given their approval for the major vaccines for COVID, including the new Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  Really?  Even though Johnson & Johnson uses cells of aborted babies in their vaccines? (You can read a related article from the National Catholic Register here.)

It’s bad enough that we are being encouraged to use any vaccines considering most use cell lines of aborted babies in their testing, but to tell everyone that it’s okay to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as well!  It’s for the ‘greater good’ right?   What about the greater good of the unborn babies whose cells are being used for the testing or production?  Are our lives worth more than these innocent little ones?  Is that why God created them?  To be used in research and development?

How can these so-called ‘pro-life’ scholars tell us that abortion is a grave sin, and then say it’s permissible to be vaccinated with these products knowing they use the cells of aborted babies?  How is this ‘for the greater good’? Isn’t it bad enough they were killed in a very cruel way without scientist exploiting them further?

I know some people will tell me that the cell lines used are from babies aborted back in the 60’s & 70’s; however, compromising on this issue gives Planned Parenthood and other killing centers the ammunition they need to justify performing abortions ‘for the greater good’.

Until they produce a vaccine that doesn’t compromise our basic principles (and put it in writing), I will not be getting vaccinated.  If that means I’ll have to spend the rest of my days locked in my home, so be it.  I’d rather be locked in my comfortable home here on earth than locked in the eternal flames of hell in the next life.

‘I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned.’ – Romans 16:17
