We are recapping the results of the 2021 civic, gubernatorial, and even state elections. For results of the PA Supreme race, see this article for more information.
The motto of the state of Virginia reads, “Sic Semper Tyrannis” meaning “Thus ever unto tyrants”. For the longest time, tyrants have run Virginia, home to eight Presidents of the United States. From McAuliffe to Northam and even senate races that have had no contest let alone the ten-point win by President Joe Biden last year proved that tyranny must stop.
Many analysts and even Vice President Kamal Harris predicted in her own words that this election would, “determine what could happen in 2022, 2024, and so on”. Well, election night 2021 proved that the tyrannical actions of the Biden Administration had to be put to a halt. Glenn Youngkin, despite being behind in many early polls, came out triumphant to replace Ralph Northam by defeating former Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe.
Not only was abortion a pivotal issue of the race but also what Terry McAullife said on the trail about entrusting children to the state when it comes to education while pushing critical race theory and parents were not allowed to have a say. The parents have spoken. Life has triumphed over death. It was a miracle. A pro-life majority will also have possession of Virginia house by one seat. On top of it, the race shows that every voice matters when it comes to our three inalienable rights given to us by God.
As we look ahead to 2022, let us remember those God-given rights when he put forth strong men and women of character and morals, no matter what party we affiliate with.
We have just begun. Let us carry this with us in the midterm election year let alone your own state’s races.
