Harry Reid, Former Majority Leader of U.S. Senate, Dead at 82

The nations today received word that Harry Reid, the former Senate majority leader from Nevada, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 82. He came to the political spotlight in the 1970s. Eventually, he would be nominated for the U.S. Senate in 1987 and served there for 30 years until his retirement. He served from 2007 to 2015 as the majority leader.

Unfortunately, he compromised his pro-life beliefs during his span of 3 decades in Congress. Despite supporting the overturn of Roe v Wade, he chickened on the 2015 Late-Term Abortion Ban. In addition to flip-flopping on his views on abortion, he was instrumental in passing Obama’s controversial Affordable Care Act.

May God have mercy on his soul on the millions of Americans he allowed to be murdered through his apathey
