Support Pro-Life Charities this #GivingTuesday December 1st

Giving Tuesday is just around the corner as many organizations are always asking people to make a contribution to their organizations before the year draws to a close.

In the midst of the busy shopping season, let us not forget our local and national groups that promote the culture of life near us and beyond. Here are just a few organizations to support:

  1. Pro-Life Unmion of Greater Philadelphia

Since its inception in 1971, the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia has reached millions in the City of Brotherly Love and its surrounding suburbs. They hope to continue its work laid out by its late founder, John Stanton. You may donate to them here

2. Generation Life

Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary, Generation Life has been preaching the pro-life and chastity messages to hundreds of thousand young people nationwide. Despite the plandemic, the small group has continue to give talks on chastity and pro-life messages on the virtual realm. Donate to them here.

3. Hope Pregnancy Center

Located 2/3 of a mile from Temple University, Hope Pregnancy, led by Marlene Downing, continues to help the vulnerable in the heart of our city. They have seen an increase in clients and hope to meet the needs of the recurring and new clients in the heart of Philadelphia. Make your donation here.

4. The Culture Project

Founded in 2014, the Culture Project has reached the masses at every corner in the United States and beyond through in person presentations and event virtually during the plandemic. They currently have missionaries in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cleveland, Toledo, and Pittsburgh. Make a donation here.

5. Legacy of Life

Legacy of Life has two centers across from Planned Parenthood facilities and has seen an uptick in clients because of women choosing life through the presence of pro-lifers. Donate to their cause here.

6. Alpha Pregnancy Center

Alpha Pregnancy has been in Philadelphia area for 40 years. They recently opened a center next door to the former House of Horrors in the Manuta section of Philadelphia. Learn how you can support them here.

7. Guiding Star Ministries

A program adopted by the PLU of Greater Philadelphia, Guiding Star Ministries helps pregnant moms develop life skills that will help them through their life. Donate today to help them reach women in their time of great need.

8. St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation

Located in Overbrook, the foundation promotes the pro-life message while also helping Catholics heal from spiritual and mental trauma brought about from divorce. If you are a Catholic who went through this life-changing experience and in need of healing, visit them here.

Students for Life To Host #StandForLife Weekend To Be Held After March for Life

The following is from Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America.

With the understanding that not everyone will be able to make it to Washington, D.C. this year for the March for Life due to COVID issues, we came up with an alternate plan.

We’re calling it the #Stand4Life Weekend – and it’s happening in 20+ cities across the nation.

This is the largest, united, national activism event ever led by pro-life youth.

The #Stand4Life Weekend will take place January 27th-30th and will include a well-rounded roster of pro-life activism…including participating in the March for Life (either in-person or virtually).

The best part? It’ll all be planned for you!

All you have to do is show up with as many of your pro-life friends as possible.

When you register for only $10, you’ll receive:

  1. A “Pro-Life Generation” Beanie
  2. All materials for activism events
  3. Pro-life events planned by your city’s #Stand4Life Captain

Learn more about it and register to join here!

Help Students for Life In Critical Runoff in Georgia

The following is from an email blast sent by Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America. This is for any college students who can help.

Join us for a Georgia Get Out the Vote Deployment to #SavetheSenate to stop the abortion lobby from having control of the White House, House, and the Senate.

Because the two U.S. Senate races were so tight, they have scheduled what’s called a “runoff election” for January 5th, 2021.

Our enthusiastic involvement in this runoff election is critical; if we win in Georgia, we will keep a pro-life majority in the U.S. Senate.

If we end up formally losing the White House, keeping a pro-life Senate is a REALLY big deal.

Apply now to join the Students for Life Action team in Georgia January 1st-5th!

What you need to know:

  1. We’ll cover your lodging and food.
  2. We’ll pay you $200.
  3. The bulk of this effort involves door-knocking (which we will train you on).
  4. Did I mention it’s critically important?

Mickey, all students (over the age of 18) are welcome to join us in Georgia, no matter where you live.

We’re even bringing out much of our own team, from all around the country, because it’s that important.

Please email Lily at lbranham@studentsforlife.org if you have any questions. But if you’re good to go, apply here.

Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition Holds Successful Walking with Moms in Need Event at Peace Valley Park

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day last Saturday as the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition held  a Walking with Moms in Need event at Peace Valley Park in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.  Families, mothers and fathers pushing baby carriages, and even one man in a wheelchair joined us for this event.

Walking with Moms in Need is a national initiative backed by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).  It is a one-year endeavor – an opportunity to express helping others in some way.

When our walk was complete, we enjoyed box lunches which were provided by MEI Catering located in Feasterville, Pennsylvania while social distancing under the pavilion.

Primary sponsors of this walk were Holy Spirit Radio, A Baby’s BreathA. Mastrocco Jr. Moving & Storage, Lincoln Investment, Long & Foster Chris Doherty & Marion Louie Team, Regina Mundi Council 4052 Bernie Kranicka.  We ask that you patronize these businesses.

Other supporters included St. Lawrence Church in Riegelsville, Nancy Gagnon, Anita Flynn, Pat Dowling, Greg Hoyt, Connie Schandein, Steve Jackson, Bob Noble, Pat Hess, Honoria Smith, and Sandy Slater.

While this is a one-year endeavor by the USCCB, the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition plans to make this an annual event.

If you were not able to attend this walk and would like to help, you can make an on-line donation using this link.  Proceeds from this walk go to pregnancy help centers in SE Pennsylvania to assist them in keeping their doors open.

Below are some pictures of last week’s walk.  Enjoy!

USCCB President Congratulates President-elect

In an appalling move by the President of the United States Conference of Catholic bishops, Archbishop Jose Gomez congratulated Joe Biden on becoming the 46th President of the United States. He goes on to say that it is great to have another Catholic in the White House.

How could the head of all of the bishops in the United States congratulate a man who has supported abortion through his nearly half a century of public service as senator and vice president.

Catholics should be very concerned as Archbishop Gomez has slapped faithful Catholics in their faces with his statement celebrating the slaughter of innocent unborn children.

Pennsylvania: What Have You Done?

After days of waiting, checking our screens, launching conspiracy theories that flooded our newsfeed, having our posts fact checked by Czar Zuckenberg, and even videos being censored by big tech, Joe Biden is elected the 46th President of the United States. Is it over? No

How can we allow Biden, who has a track record of flip flopping, officiating a same sex wedding, and even being a Catholic in Name Only, become our leader? Biden is not an authentic Catholic. He is Catholic in name only. He will meet his creator and all the babies he murdered through his apathetic attitude.

Regardless of who was going to come out as victor of the presidential race, one thing still remains clear: The fight to save life from womb to tomb must be our main focus. We cannot back down from this important fight in our nation’s history. It has and will always be a long and hard fought battle. The question is are you willing to stand up for the most vulnerable and fight to your last breath.

Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition Closes 40 Days of Prayer and Repentance with a Life Chain

Eighteen pro-life warriors braved the rain, wind and cold yesterday to be present for our Life Chain to end the 40 Days of Prayer and Repentance in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Although there were a few negative responses to our efforts, most who drove past were supportive.

The Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition thanks all who came out during these 40 Days to pray for and end to abortion at this facility and give witness to the community on the horrors committed here and at other killing centers across the nation.

Our next event at the Planned Parenthood in Warminster is our monthly First Friday Life Chain which will be held this Friday, November 6th from 9:30 – 10:30 am.  And don’t forget our Walking with Moms in Need this coming Saturday, November 7th at Peace Valley Park.  Click on this link for more information on this event.

Below are some pictures from yesterday’s Life Chain.

The Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition is an organization that believes in the sanctity of life from the moment of conception to natural death. We provide financial and material support to area crisis pregnancy care centers that endorse the sanctity of life. To expand our mission, we provide information and education to the community. Upcoming Events in Bucks County and Surrounding Areas

2020 has been a year no one will forget.  Shutdowns due to the coronavirus, businesses closed (sadly, some for good) due to this virus, schools closed, students and office workers telecommuting, vacations cancelled or shortened.

And while most have been waiting for the virus to end to get on with their lives,  the pro-life movement has been busier than ever.    It seems that this year more pro-life events, both virtually and publicly, have and will occur.

Below are some upcoming events for the remainder of this year.  I have included a list that you can download and print out.  We hope that you will join us for these events.   Most listed are sponsored by the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition.

Life Chain – Sunday, November 1st 2:30 – 3:30 pm. This will close out our 40 Days of Prayer and Repentance. We will gather along Street Road starting at Louis Drive and going west towards Old York Road.

Election Day – Tuesday, November 3rd. It’s important that you vote, if you haven’t already done so;  and please vote for pro-life candidates. God’s precious little ones are counting on us to do our part to make sure they have the right to be born.

Right to Birth – Saturday, October 31st – Rally and Prayer Vigil – begins with Mass at the Cathedral followed by march to Planned Parenthood at 12th & Locust Streets.  This event is sponsored by the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia.

Walking with Moms in Need – Saturday, November 7th – Peace Valley Park in Doylestown. Registration begins at 10:00 am and Walk starts at 11:00 am.

First Friday Life Chain – every first Friday of the month on Louis Drive in Warminster outside of Planned Parenthood from 9:30 – 10:30 am. We encourage everyone to join us in prayer for the closing of this abortion mill.

Full-Page ad in Waco Trib on Roe Day 2021

The following is from John Pisciotta of Pro-Life Waco

Last week, I wrote that I would have a big announcement this week.  Here goes!  Pro-Life Waco will organize a full-page Waco Tribune-Herald ad for January 22, 2021 to honor those killed in the unspeakable injustice of abortion unleashed by the Roe V Wade court decision in 1973. PLW seeks 500-600 names affirming the message of the ad.

In addition to honoring the dead we seek to mobilize life defenders to bring an end to abortion in our city. This will be the only ad of its kind in Texas, perhaps in the entire country.  If the Democrats of McLennan county can deliver a full-page ad (October 25 with 300 names) calling for the election of Biden-Harris, surely, we can do this in solidarity with babies, moms, and families.  You can see the layout of the ad and more explanation by clicking here.

You will also find two ways that you as an individual or a family can be included in this historic proclamation. One way is to send $5 to $50 to Pro-Life Waco (4200 Grim Ave, Waco 76710) and the way you want your household name to appear on the ad. You can also  go online at www.prolifewaco.com. Click on the “Support Us” button and go from there.

Funds received will be applied to the $3700 cost of the ad. Any surplus will be applied to PLW outreach in 2021. If contributions do not cover the cost, PLW will fill in the gap.

Also, I am seeking “Captains” for this campaign. This is a dedicated foot soldier who will try to sign up 10 or more friends and relatives. Possibly your Sunday School class. Please respond to this email and let me know if you will be a captain.

If you are a recipient of this message, you can be included in the ad even if you do not live in Central Texas.

Let’s not keep our light under a bushel basket.  Let our light shine brightly throughout Central Texas, our state, and our country.

Students for Life Host Rally at Senator Casey’s Office

As the nation will witness history to be made early next week, Students for Life have made stops in ten different cities urging senators to vote yes to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat.

Fifteen students from across the nation, led by PA coordinator Liana Hollendonner, held a peaceful rally outside of Senator Bob Casey’s Center City office, urging for his vote on the right side of history.

Unfortunately, it is likely that Casey will not carry out his father legacy as he has done since being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006.

Following the mini rally, the students chalk up messages in support of Amy Coney-Barrett. However, they were met with some threats by a security guard. After conferring with Cicil Affairs, the students were permitted to chalk on the public sidewalk.
