Fauci Funded Research With Body Parts From Viable, Healthy Babies Killed in Abortions

Unbeknownst to most Americans, their tax dollars are funding these disturbing, unethical abortion practices.

Everything you’ve read or heard about Anthony Fauci is much worse than you can imagine. Below is a disturbing Life News article by Micaiah Bilger. It concerns Fauci and the unethical gruesome practice of harvesting baby body parts post abortion.

Anthony Fauci’s agency is using American tax dollars to fund unethical experiments with body parts from potentially viable, healthy aborted babies.

Fauci, Joe Biden’s chief medical officer, also leads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

A new investigation by the Daily Wire found that Fauci’s agency supported a study at the University of California-San Francisco that used organs from 18 to 23 week aborted babies to study bacterial growth.

The study “Viable bacterial colonization is highly limited in the human intestine in utero” was published in February 2020 in the journal “Nature Medicine.”

According to the study, researchers used “donated” intestine, kidneys, spleens and lymph nodes from aborted babies at 18 to 23 weeks gestation. The babies’ organs came from the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, the study noted.

The babies’ organs “were collected by a single operator using sterile tools within 10 minutes of termination procedure and placed into sterile containers” and then “transported in media on ice and processed within 2 hours after collection,” according to the study.

The researchers acknowledged several sources of taxpayer funding that they used to conduct their study, including a National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases grant from which the university used $113,727 since 2017 (Grant No. F31 AI136336), the Daily Wire reports. Other taxpayer-funded grants came from the National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health.

Come On, Man! Human Embryos Are People

The following is from Judie Brown, President of American Life League

Fetal development

And as the late Fr. Richard John Neuhaus related after he visited the United States Capitol in 2001:

I was recently at the Capitol. The topic was stem cell research and the creation of embryos in order to use them and destroy them. A senator told me, as he pulled out a piece of paper with a small mark at a hearing and waved it at me: “That is what we are talking about, Father. That doesn’t look like a baby to me.”

I replied, “Good for you, Senator. Thank you for the opportunity; that is exactly what a one-week-old baby looks like! That is exactly what I looked like when I was a one-week-old baby—exactly what you looked like. And unless we get our heads and our hearts—and consequently our politics and our laws—right about this question, brothers and sisters, we are not going to get anything else right.”

Fr. Neuhaus hit the nail on the head. He shared a truth that is not alien to anyone who is willing to examine it. A baby is a baby from his actual beginning!

The human embryo is one of us—an individual who derives food, not his form, from his environment. From day one he is a distinctly unique member of the human family. This is not rocket science; it is reality.

To deny it is to admit that one has chosen ignorance based on a reckless desire to ignore what is clearly provable by reason and logic.

Come on man! Human embryos are people!

Tell Congress NO Vaccines From Aborted Babies

Below is an urgent message from Judie Brown, President of the American Life League.  Please use this link to find and contact your elected officials and tell them you do not want a vaccine that includes fetal stems cells from aborted babies.  When you’re done, please consider making a contribution to the American Life League to help them with their work.

vaccine 3

Congress is getting ready to throw millions if not billions of dollars towards unethical research using aborted fetal stem cell lines.

In my recent letter to the White House and members of Congress, I outlined the very serious dangers of using unethical fetal stem cell lines from aborted babies:

“There are millions of faith-based individuals who will refuse to take any vaccine derived from aborted fetal stem cell lines. As one respected religious leader in Texas recently tweeted, “…let me go on record…if a vaccine for this virus is only attainable if we use body parts of aborted children then I will refuse the vaccine.”— Townhall (15 April  2020)

As you know, American Life League is one of the few pro-life organizations willing to stand on a line and demand that no aborted fetal stem cells be used in the creation of a vaccine for COVID-19.

If an unethical vaccine is created for coronavirus that uses stem cell lines from aborted babies, millions of people of faith will stand by their conscience first.

This is a historic opportunity to make a difference.  I need to be able to flood Capitol Hill with letters and phone calls to staff reminding them that we don’t need to stand on a pile of dead babies to make a vaccine for this disease.

God bless you for all you do for the babies!

Demand a COVID-19 Vaccine Free from Abortion

Please take a moment to send a message to Secretary of HHS Alex Azar II  as requested by  Human Life Action to make sure no vaccines created for COVID-19 include the cells of aborted  babies.   Links are provided in their message below.

COVID 19 Vaccine

There is absolutely no reason why a vaccine for COVID-19 should be connected to abortion. But that is exactly what may happen in the coming months.

Take action

Among the dozens of vaccines currently in development, some are being produced using old cell lines that were created from the cells of aborted babies.
There is NO NEED to further exploit the bodies of aborted children.

Other cell lines or processes that do not involve cells from abortions are available!

In fact, they are regularly used for producing vaccines and are being used by some drug companies to develop a COVID-19 vaccine.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) along with leaders of many healthcare, bioethics, and pro-life organizations, is urging the Trump Administration to make sure that vaccines for COVID-19 are developed ethically and are free from any connection to the exploitation of abortion. Please add your voice to theirs.

BACKGROUND
The coalition letter expresses strong support for efforts to develop an effective, safe, and widely available vaccine as quickly as possible, but also strongly urges the federal government to “ensure that fundamental moral principles are followed in the development of such vaccines, most importantly, the principle that human life is sacred and should never be exploited.”

Take Action to Oppose the use of Aborted Babies in Vaccines for COVID-19

The following is from Marie Tasy, Executive Director of the New Jersey Right to Life.  Please use the links in Marie’s message for more information  and please contact the Trump administration to make sure any vaccine approved for COVID-19 does not use the cells of aborted babies.

vaccine

Many pharmaceuticals are presently working to develop a vaccine for COVID-19.  Unfortunately, some are experimenting on the efficacy of using cell lines from aborted babies.

Please read this informative article by Dr. David Prentice and Dr. Tara Sander Lee which provides a host of ethical alternatives that are available now.  There are also many more  in development thanks to NIH directing additional funding to new areas of research.  For coronavirus in particular, there are over 60 potential treatments under investigation.

Please click on the link HERE to urge the Trump Administration to make sure that vaccines for COVID-19 are developed ethically and are free from any connection to the exploitation of abortion.

We are proud to stand with the Catholic Church and other pro-life and faith leaders to promote good, ethical health care that does not involve  the use of aborted babies.

As you saw, Students for Life is hosting our own pro-life trainings for the next 5 weeks.

But there’s also a Bonus Training by Equal Rights Institute this Tuesday at 9pm EST!

The topic is a question that comes up often in conversations about abortion: “Do you think women should go to jail for having an abortion when it becomes illegal?”

In this webinar, Josh Brahm (the president of the Equal Rights Institute) will discuss that difficult question and offer several practical suggestions for how to respond to it. Afterward, Josh will take YOUR questions!

Make sure to REGISTER HERE or you won’t be able to join us live. Plus, the replay of the webinar will only be available for 48-hours. If you can’t join us live but you want to receive the replay link afterward, click HERE to register now.

Exploiting a Crisis: Unethical Experiments Undermine Real Help for Coronavirus Patients

The following was sent to me from Marie Tasy, Executive Director of New Jersey Right to Life.  It’s a little long, but worth the read.

Research NJRTL

Below is a very informative article which appeared in today’s Town Hall on-line publication by Dr. David Prentice, who is Vice President and Research Director for the Charlotte Lozier Institute and Tara Sander Lee, Ph.D., a Senior Fellow and Director of Life Sciences for the Charlotte Lozier Institute.

The article describes how some scientists and liberal media sources are again making false claims about the use of aborted fetal tissue in experiments and vaccines to combat COVID-19.  This article provides some very helpful and useful information to counter those claims.

Please stay well and be safe.  Please know that our prayers are with you and your loved ones.

Exploiting a Crisis: Unethical Experiments Undermine Real Help for Coronavirus Patients
by David A. Prentice
Editor’s Note: This piece was coauthored by Tara Sander Lee.
|

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.
Someone once said, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste,” and scientists longing to push aside key ethical boundaries took it to heart. A recent Washington Post article claims possible treatments for coronavirus will not be discovered without using body parts harvested from abortions, and that ethical considerations are blocking potential drugs that could “save hundreds of thousands of lives.”

This is not the first time the doomsayers have been exposed for making false and contemptible statements to justify their questionable experiments. But like so many before it, the latest claim is specious. The coronavirus pandemic provides a convenient opportunity to play on people’s fears.  It’s dishonest and wrong.
Experimentation involving aborted babies’ body parts is controversial for a reason: it is unethical, antiquated science – and it’s totally unnecessary. There is no need whatsoever for its use in development of protections or treatments for the coronavirus or any other disease. Instead of squandering precious taxpayer dollars, we should be optimizing the wide array of modernsuccessful alternatives we already have.

A host of ethical alternatives are available now, and many more are in development thanks to NIH directing additional funding to new areas of research.  For coronavirus in particular, there are over 60 potential treatments under investigation.  Making the conscientious decision not to exploit aborted children’s bodies won’t stop us from fighting coronavirus. Indeed, there is no lack of swift progress with ethical alternatives, including some that have already started clinical trials.
One potential treatment for coronavirus involves the use of a humanized mouse (that is, a mouse with a humanized immune system), but it does not use any aborted baby parts.  This modern version, the VelocImmune mouse, is genetically engineered to produce human antibodies for therapeutic use including arthritis and potential treatment for coronavirus infection.

Repurposing an already-approved drug also shows promise in treating coronavirus.  A drug widely used for malaria is moving particularly fast through the research, development, and clinical trial process, when used alone or in combination with other drugs.

Adult stem cells – which are derived from ethical sources present in the body, not from destroyed embryos – are also delivering results. One type of human adult stem cell has been shown to generate new lung tissue and heal damaged lungs.  In fact, the researchers noted that this adult stem cell type is essential to repairing lung tissue damaged by severe influenza and other respiratory ailments. Another adult stem cell type has already been deployed in China and is improving health outcomes for patients with coronavirus-associated pneumonia.

With so many other successful alternatives available to researchers, pushing experimentation with aborted baby body parts at a time like this, when many people worldwide already feel vulnerable, is petty and ludicrous. The Trump administration’s new policy toward these experiments rightly puts ethics first in considering taxpayer-funded grants to researchers who want to use body parts from elective abortions. This week, HHS is accepting nominations for an Ethics Board to carefully examine the ethics of these research proposals. Between the coronavirus and the administration’s action, the timing of complaints from scientists who want to keep tax dollars flowing to their grisly projects is as unsurprising as it is inappropriate.

These objectors always fail to mention that their experiments don’t just require the intentional and deliberate destruction of human life to get the body parts they so covet – they incentivize it. Often the baby who’s sacrificed can feel pain. Some might even survive outside the womb. This argument gets to the heart of what is right and what is wrong and what should and should not be allowed in the name of science. The fact is, the use of aborted baby body parts for research is never justified or necessary.

Evangelium Vitae- 25 years later

For most of his papacy, St. John Paul the Great emphasize the necessity for every Catholic to protect the sanctity of human life.

For him, his work that was promulgated on this day 25 years ago rings true today.

The point of the document is to reinforce church teaching on the sanctity of human life. Not only does he reinforce the teaching on abortion and contraception, but he also takes it a step further by discussing the death penalty stating that it is “unholy and unlawful”.

Another form of a murder he discusses is euthanasia “grave violation of the law of God” because it is a form of deliberate killing.

Overall, the encyclical was a pro-life manifesto. It defines what it means to be for all stages of life and how we can pick and choose which form of life we should defend.

Rally Outside of Supreme Court

The following is from an email blast sent out by Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America.

Sometimes, the pro-life movement gets a BIG opportunity to make legal progress for Life.

Wednesday is one of those opportunities!

Next week, on March 4th, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the potential landmark abortion case June Medical Services v. Russo.

And we’re having a rally outside the Supreme Court in support of the pro-life Louisiana law.

>>> Visit the rally website for more information.

The case challenges a law requiring abortionists to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of their facility.

As the first case related to abortion that will be heard since Justice Kavanaugh has been appointed to the Court, this decision could challenge/overturn the 2016 Hellerstedt decision, which stripped away commonsense protections that safeguard women from predatory abortionists.

Full Event Details:

March 3rd, 2020

  • Supreme Court, Washington, D.C.
  • 6:00 – 7:00pm – Pre-Event Prayer Vigil & Worship

March 4th, 2020

  • Supreme Court, Washington, D.C.
  • 9:00 – 9:30am – Pre-Rally – Women Share their Stories
  • 9:30 – 11:30am – Protect Women Protect Life Rally

Years ago, the late pro-life Justice Antonin Scalia noted that he wanted to reverse the 1973 decision that legalized abortion. But he asked Americans – where was the moral outcry?

You are the moral outcry! That’s why I need you to join us on Wednesday. The Justices need to see you there.

Beginning at 7:30am, we’ll be gathering in front of the court to help stake out space for our pro-life speakers and set the tone for a peaceful, fun, and energized rally. We are asking all pro-life supporters to wear the color BLUE.

Let us know at the Facebook Event if you’re coming. I hope you can; this is certainly one for the history books.
