Testimony Outside of Planned Parenthood; Mother Turned Away

Below is a reflection and testimony on a save that happened yesterday outside of Planned Parenthood in Center City. My hope is that someone would be inspired to step into the breach to save lives as I do with many of my fellow pro-lifers.

Today was a day filled with so much traffic. I remember people walking by shaking their heads in disgust of my presence outside of an abortion facility that is the epitome of White Supremacy. Even one person (Jacob )that walks the route along locust on his way to work, only to stop to snap a photo of me and send it to his friend Anna from (Philadelphia Women’s Center).

As I was winding down my two hour coverage, two young women were going in as I offered to them a blessing bag. They declined and went inside.

A few minutes later, those same girls came out two minutes apart. One of them was crying. I knew that it was my moment as I prayed the flying novena. After concluding the flying novena, the girls came out of the gate. This time, I wasted no time offering them life saving information. They thanked me for sharing and wished me a good day as I watched them walk away from the place.

If this is not why we are needed outside of places of doom and gloom then I don’t know what is.

And what amazes me is she went from tears of sadness and woe to leaving PP with a hint of hope for her and child

It also dawned on me that today is the Solemnity of the Annunciation. God’s sense of timing for yet another news worth of praise.

Please attend the closing rally outside of the largest non-Planned Parenthood affiliate in our city and state.

Rush Limbaugh Dead at 70

Many conservatives mourn the loss of Rush Limbaugh, a conservative radio host. Limbaugh lost his battle to lung cancer today at the age of 70.

He is known for attacking the ideas of the far left and even many liberal politicians. At the same time, he was falsely labeled as a hypocrite by many who despised his views and even the valid points he made time after time. Unfortunately, his death was met with celebration by those on the left side of the spectrum that comments on Twitter was filled with so much hatred.

The good news is that he was met by praise, particularly by former President Donald J Trump. He stood for everything that America, “has stood for.” He was a guiding light to truth. In 2020, Former President Trump awarded Rush the Medal of Freedom following his stage four cancer diagnosis.

One thing that set Rush apart from other commentators is his tenacity for the defend of the unborn. He admitted that abortion is why the country is wrong at its root in this country.

For anyone using this time to dance on his gravce or labeling him a hypocrite (which I’m sure you are one as we were reminded in the gospel chosen for Ash Wednesday), I offer a few words from a talented journalist:

“You are the cancer that eats away at our virtue. You are the toxins in our societal bloodstream. You are the children of the Church Of No Rules. You are the sickness with no antidote. You are the flaming torches and flaring nostrils of another Guernica. You are what, and why, Rush was necessary. And why he will never be forgotten.”

May Rush Hudson Limbaugh rest in the heavenly arms of Jesus.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let the perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Well donegood and faithful servant” Matthew 25:23

Philadelphia Women’s Center 10 Years Later: Reflection

On January 8th 2011, a young man stood outside of one of the largest abortion facilities in Pennsylvania. He was nervous that even the bitter cold morning did not keep him from hiding it. Later, a seasoned pro-lifer (the late John Stanton) pulled up as he helped him place a sign on the corner that floored him about the number of abortions committed at this location alone. Before he can blinked, his neighbors showed up and were thrilled to see him. His presence gave them hope.

Since that bitter cold morning of January 2011, he continued to get more and more involved with the pro-life movement that included regular participation in prayer vigils, at large events, and recruiting new people from time to time. He was jeered, assaulted, and even taunted all because he wanted to do “what God wants him to do.”

That young man is me and I am not done until we end abortion on the streets of Philadelphia and every major city across the United States and throughout the world.

Abortion Pill Reversal; Call for Help

The following is from an email sent by Dr. Monique Ruberu sent last evening.

Today I received a text from Dominic who was praying outside PP… he had encountered a woman who was headed in to abort. This mom was crying, so sad but so scared. She was in a very tough situation and Dom needed support. His shift was almost over and he didn’t want to leave the sidewalk empty in case she came out seeking help.

Thanks be to God Bill showed up to relieve him and continue the prayer for this woman in particular.

A few minutes ago I received a call from the APR hotline. I called the woman who took an abortion pill at 11 am at 12th and Locust today!
I asked her if she encountered Dom on the way in and she said “yes”

I told her that Dom and I had been praying for her today and we were so happy she called!

now I ask each of you to pray for this little 9 week baby! Pray that she takes the progesterone on time and that the baby is saved from abortion.

KNOW that without Dom and Bill covering these hours today this girl likely would never have known that REVERSAL was an option.

PRAISE GOD !!!! And thank you to all of you who show up and have chosen your hours to be present!!!

VIRTUAL ROUNDTABLE HOSTED BY STUDENTS FOR LIFE OF AMERICA

The following is from an email blast sent by Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America.

I want to invite you to a special pro-life, virtual event thisTuesday (September 8th) featuring one of Pennsylvania’s pro-life champions!

On Tuesday evening at 6PM EST, can you join Students for Life Action and Drew Murray for a Pro-Life Generation Roundtable on “Pursuing a Post-Roe Pennsylvania?”

Drew is running for Pennsylvania State House District 182, and his opponent is the infamous Brian Sims.

You remember PA Representative Sims right? He made headlines last year for harassing two young girls, Students for Life members, as they prayed outside of a Planned Parenthood facility in his Philadelphia district.

Drew has a solid pro-life record and will surely be an unwavering ally for the preborn if elected to the Pennsylvania State House. So, we would love for you to meet him and have the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have.

To register for the Pro-Life Generation PA Roundtable with Drew Murrayjust click here.

At Students for Life Action, we are committed to enacting pro-life policies that will uphold the rights of the pre-born in Pennsylvania and working towards that day when abortion is unthinkable and illegal..

I hope you can join us this Tuesday, Sept 8th at 6pm EST!

Witness from Sidewalk Servant

The following is from an email blast sent by Deborah regarding an encounter a sidewalk servant witnessed outside of Planned Parenthood

One of the Sidewalk Servants, Bob, shared a story about a young lady they encountered last Thursday at 12th & Locust, and we wanted to share it with you. Please take a few moments to read it; this woman’s comment “I wish you had been here when I came before” is just heart wrenching… It is an encouragement for all of us to give a little of our time to be there for each woman and baby; they need us… Our presence can make all the difference! Please give a couple of hours of your time this week, and ask family and friends to join you or to sign up for a time also.  God bless you!
His story:
At 12th and Locust this AM, Rose approached and I offered her a brochure, pointed to the Community Women’s Center of Philadelphia (Women’s Center) next doorand suggested she could get care that did not include abortion there.  She was a beautiful and very mature young lady.  She smiled knowingly and said she thought she was pregnant, that she had taken the first part of the chemical abortion but thought it had failed.  She spoke of immediate regret upon doing so and said she was happy to be pregnant.
I expressed my hope and joy at that possibility, and encouraged her to go next door.  We also gave her the Natural Womens’ Health material from Dr. Monique. But she proceeded anyway to go into Planned Parenthood. I cautioned her to be careful that she not listen to untruths in Planned Parenthood.
I then called the Women’s Centernumber to prepare them in the event she came out.  When I was returning to the sidewalk in front of the Planned Parenthood, I saw Rose speaking with Bob G, another Sidewalk Servant who was there with me.  Bob was very encouraging and loving as he learned from her that, despite testing positive for pregnancy at home, she had tested negative in PP.  I also tried to be comforting, asking her to google Rachel’s Vineyard which she proceeded to do.  We also encouraged her to visit the Women’s Center, to consult on her situation and perhaps be re-tested.  She did, but before leaving us she looked at us with big, beautiful brown eyes and said “I wish you had been here when I came before”.  My heart aches.
Please encourage folks to continue to come out to pray and be there for these women. I found her story so encouraging. The women need us there!  Let’s be there for them.
Thanks to Pat and others for all they have done to be present during the first and hopefully only COVID storm in Phila.
Please pray for Rose.
Bob

PREVIEW OF THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION

The Republican National Conventional, held between August 24th through the 27th, will feature a myriad of speakers that can dispel the lies of the lamestream media and the Democratic party.

This year, the RNC will include many pro-life champions in office and activists making a difference in building a culture of life.

Abby Johnson will speak on Tuesday evening. In addition to Abby Johnson, Nick Sandmann, a student from Kentucky who beat CNN in court, will also highlight the second evening of the convention.

We Don’t Need Cowards or Politicians. . .We Need BISHOPS!

The following is from Judie Brown of American Life League.

Shepherds lead from the front; goatherds lead from behind.

There has been a lot of commentary about Bishop Robert Barron’s insistence that the laity — and not the bishops — should be providing clarity during times of crisis.

So let me give you a vivid example of the rank cowardice we have among the Catholic bishops today.

What follows is a statement made in May 2020 from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops which — if they actually published something like this — would give pro-life Catholics across America a great deal of courage:

“Our hearts are wounded for the many souls mourned as African American communities across the nation are being disproportionately infected with and dying from the impact of Planned Parenthood. We raise our voices to urge state and national leaders to examine the generational and systemic structural conditions that make Planned Parenthood especially deadly to African American communities.

“We stand in support of all communities struggling under the weight Planned Parenthood has had not only on their physical health, but on their livelihoods, especially front line medical and sanitation workers, public safety officers, and those in the service industry. We are praying fervently for an end to abortion, and for physical health for all, and emotional healing amongst all who have lost loved ones.”

The problem?

They never issued a statement going after Planned Parenthood or abortion.  They issued this statement about COVID-19.

If the Catholic bishops can be so adamantly clear during a pandemic that has killed 121,000 Americans, why can’t they be just as strong (if not STRONGER) in the face of the 2,363 abortions committed every day in America?!

Now it has been 103 days since the COVID-19 lockdowns began.  COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 121,000 Americans.  In 103 days, the abortion industry has murdered 271,508 babies.

This, Bishop Barron, is the problem.  We don’t need cowards.  We don’t need more politicians.  We need BISHOPS unafraid to live and defend the GOSPEL.

How much longer will the Catholic bishops be silent in the face of the greatest sin this nation has ever committed in the eyes of God?

If Barron is asking the laity to lead, then the laity is begging our Catholic bishops to ENFORCE CANON 915.

Is Fatherhood Essential? Reflecting on Father’s Day

It goes without showing that our culture has been going down a slow but declining drain.

We have seen an increase in crime, fatherless homes, sexual promiscuity, secularism, and even incarcerations. Why? It’s all because of the lack of father figures in the lives of children.

In 2003, Jennifer Schwartz from Penn State University, did a study on what is the cause of so many incarceration among children. She discovered that there has been a missing compartment in the household, a father figure.

As it turned out, Schwartz discovered what the complete problem was for these many young teens are imprisoned. They had no father in the household. Read more here.

Fathers Neglect

It appears that it can be applied today. Pope Francis once talked about a very dangerous plague in our culture known as the “throwaway culture”. This throwaway culture can be applied to the abortion industry.

Fathers to be are taught that they do not have to take responsibility for their pre-marital affairs with another girl. This is the most dangerous thing to say to a father. Even fathers regret their lost children in the hyperactive culture of death. Women’s rights achieved this victory when they intoxicated masculinity just to tear down men with the venom of feminism.

A man’s job in this culture is to stand against the waves of modernism. The father’s first and foremost job is to protect his family. Without his protection, the family is vulnerable to the tyranny of the world.

Man Up

We are living in hard times due to weak men. I see many wimps walk their girlfriends into the abortion facility every time I am on the sidewalk. It infuriates me, yet I have to offer it up to God for him to awaken his senses. However, it must make us stronger in order to create good times.

Men, throughout history, have risen to the occasion. Whether it were to do their duty to fight, provide, and even support. Now it would be the time for brave God-fearing men to step up to the plate to end the culture of death.

Men, it’s time to make and take a stand. The culture of modernism, secularism, and even relativism can end when you become more involved with your faith by leading your children and family to Christ. It will be a challenge, yes. However, when you place God first, you will move mountains and leap over the toughest hurdles.

There is a solution. Men, it’s time to step out on the sidewalk and pray. Visit Sidewalks Servants and Sign Up.

MAN UP!
