Not for girls’ sports as they will be forced to allow boys to compete on the same teams as girls.
Not for medical professionals who will be forced to perform or assist at abortions and transgender procedures.
Not for clergy who will be forced to perform marriages for homosexuals.
Not for Christian schools who will be forced to hire homosexuals and transexuals to teach in their schools.
Not for women and children who will be forced to share bathrooms and shelters with men who ‘identify’ as women.
Not for the Little Sisters of the Poor who help the poorest of the poor. They will be forced to shut their doors if they don’t provide insurance for abortion, and transgender procedures.
Not for Christian businesses who will be forced to compromise their Christian principles or close their doors.
Not for parents who will lose their right to make medical decisions about their children’s gender dysphoria by normalizing hormonal and surgical interventions.
These are just some of the Americans that our Congressman chose to dismiss when voting for this bill.
Please join us on March 26th to let Congressman Fitzpatrick know of our displeasure of this vote he cast against the family and God’s commandments. Rally begins at 11:00 am. Below is a flyer for this event. Please print out and share with others.
Today, while everyone was home due to the virtual March for Life, I was in our nation’s capital for a big weekend.
I got there early and met a couple of local regulars.
A few minutes later, 100 college students and regional coordinators from Students for Life came out and help packed the sidewalk.
I led the praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. As we were transitioning into the rosary, a young man dropped off his girlfriend and taunted verbal and even hateful things at us. It was tempting to stop the praying. However, I kept going without stopping like a train on full speed to its destination. I even felt that my Guardian Angel was watching over me as that same man made threats to bring a gun and unload bullets on me and fellow pro-lifers.
Thankfully everyone kept the faith while their composure and we managed to have an eventful day on the sidewalk filling it with love, mercy, and even hope as it lies only a mile from one of the most beautiful Basilicas in the country on the grounds of Catholic University of America.
The devil is real and he knows that his time is short. His weapons are vices and principalities. Ours are prayers, works of service and mercy, and even the Eucharist.
News came in today that Former Vice President and presumed Democratic nominee, Joe Biden has picked his running mate. His move is one of historic proportions. He selected California Senator, Kamala Harris. Who is she?
Record on Abortion
Kamala Harris, the senator of California (since 2016), native of San Francisco, is a pro-abortion senator. Her record on abortion is so extreme that she has wrongfully accuse David Daleiden and Sandra Merrit. Even today the media is still silent about this major cover up that exploded in the news five years ago. Sadly, Senator Harris has continued to defend Planned Parenthood. Currently, there is a lawsuit against the running mate over the matter.
Harris is no friend of Catholic Americans, let alone the Catholic Church. Instead, she is the complete opposite. Case in point, during the 2018 confirmation hearing of Brian Buescher as district judge of Nebraska, Harris used his membership for the Knights of Columbus as a way to disqualify his nomination. Fortunately, Buescher was confirmed by the senate to the district court. Senator Ben Sasse called out her actions along with other of her colleagues that used religious clause that radical senators pretend exists to keep nominees from the court.
Like the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party, Harris does have a shady past when it came to mass incarcerations. African Americans had a high imprisoned rate than others. Even former Vice President Joe Biden ushered in laws that has done damaged to the black communities.
What are we up against?
The Democratic Party has proved that they do not care about African Americans though they embrace the Black Lives Matter group. They have steered away from Catholicism more and more. Additionally, they are doing more harm than good when they protect the largest abortion chain in America… Planned Parenthood.
In November, we cannot let these two radicals undue everything the Trump Administration has done in 3 years.
The following is from Judie Brown of American Life League.
Shepherds lead from the front; goatherds lead from behind.
There has been a lot of commentary about Bishop Robert Barron’s insistence that the laity — and not the bishops — should be providing clarity during times of crisis.
So let me give you a vivid example of the rank cowardice we have among the Catholic bishops today.
What follows is a statement made in May 2020 from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops which — if they actually published something like this — would give pro-life Catholics across America a great deal of courage:
“Our hearts are wounded for the many souls mourned as African American communities across the nation are being disproportionately infected with and dying from the impact of Planned Parenthood. We raise our voices to urge state and national leaders to examine the generational and systemic structural conditions that make Planned Parenthood especially deadly to African American communities.
“We stand in support of all communities struggling under the weight Planned Parenthood has had not only on their physical health, but on their livelihoods, especially front line medical and sanitation workers, public safety officers, and those in the service industry. We are praying fervently for an end to abortion, and for physical health for all, and emotional healing amongst all who have lost loved ones.”
If the Catholic bishops can be so adamantly clear during a pandemic that has killed 121,000 Americans, why can’t they be just as strong (if not STRONGER) in the face of the 2,363 abortions committed every day in America?!
Now it has been 103 days since the COVID-19 lockdowns began. COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 121,000 Americans. In 103 days, the abortion industry has murdered 271,508 babies.
This, Bishop Barron, is the problem. We don’t need cowards. We don’t need more politicians. We need BISHOPS unafraid to live and defend the GOSPEL.
How much longer will the Catholic bishops be silent in the face of the greatest sin this nation has ever committed in the eyes of God?
If Barron is asking the laity to lead, then the laity is begging our Catholic bishops to ENFORCE CANON 915.
Voices for Life prayer campaign continues into the 4th week.
This week please join us in praying for NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Ocasio-Cortez has been the subject of some memes that attack her intelligence. I know because I have neighbors that love using her as a punchline. Here, she is the subject of prayer for her to open her eyes as she supported the murder of 1/3 of her peers. When I did my research on her, it has occurred to me that she is just two months older than me
I chose her for three reasons:
She is originally from Venezuela where socialism is drying the very bone of a once productive country.
That God sends many Christians across her path to share the Gospel
That the light of Christ sets her free from the deceit and darkness of satan
That she falls to her knees and surrenders her life to Jesus Christ, her only hope for salvation
That the Holy Spirit shows her overwhelming proof that abortion is murder and
That she becomes an advocate for mothers and their unborn babies.
Please join me this week in remembering Representative Ocasio-Cortez in your daily prayers.
Now, please join me in prayer.
Fount of Mercy Prayer
Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, we come to You with a contrite heart and with faith for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that You will give her the grace of conversion. O blood and water that gushed forth from the heart of Jesus, as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You. Enlighten this mind that is ensnared in ignorance and sin and darkness. Bring her into the fold of the Holy Catholic Church. Amen.
“Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.” James 1:21
Please join a virtual rally and rosary to show your support for the Little Sisters of the Poor this coming Wednesday. Because of their strong commitment to their faith they have been the subjected to lawsuits including this one, Little Sisters of the Poor v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeking to order them to provide contraception coverage to their employees in their healthcare plan. This is religious discrimination and harassment of this religious order. Below is more information on this rally.
