Students for Life Host Rally at Senator Casey’s Office

As the nation will witness history to be made early next week, Students for Life have made stops in ten different cities urging senators to vote yes to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat.

Fifteen students from across the nation, led by PA coordinator Liana Hollendonner, held a peaceful rally outside of Senator Bob Casey’s Center City office, urging for his vote on the right side of history.

Unfortunately, it is likely that Casey will not carry out his father legacy as he has done since being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006.

Following the mini rally, the students chalk up messages in support of Amy Coney-Barrett. However, they were met with some threats by a security guard. After conferring with Cicil Affairs, the students were permitted to chalk on the public sidewalk.

Students for Life Sidewalk Day – Bucks County, PA

IMG_1113Friday’s rain showers could not dampen the support for the special pro-life Sidewalk Day in front of the Planned Parenthood in Warminster.  Tucker Brown, a St. Charles seminarian, coordinated a Students for Life of America (SFLA) prayerful assembly in the hopes of showing support for the pro-life message, not only for the mothers entering into the abortion center, but also for anyone driving by.  We saw more than a few thumbs up from drivers!

The agenda included private prayer, live Christian music and presentations offered by Tucker Brown, Father Paschal Onunwa of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and Patrick Stanton.IMG_1112

Though this was termed as a Students for Life day at PP, there were toddlers, seniors and everyone in between professing their support for LIFE!.

Thank you to all the speakers, musicians, all those who attended and in particular Tucker for coordinating this event.  Seeing a younger group of people willing to lead such events is so encouraging!

Reminder:  The monthly Bucks County Life Chain for August is scheduled for Friday, August 7th, 9:30 am – 10:30 am at the Planned Parenthood, 610 Louis Drive, Warminster, PA.   All are welcome in peaceful, prayerful support of life for the unborn.
