Donations Needed for Crossroads Pregnancy Center

Pro-lifer warriors are the most generous people on earth despite what the pro-death media, politicians, and Planned Parenthood would have you believe.  Take for example the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition which holds monthly First Friday Life Chains at the Warminster, Pa Planned Parenthood.  Each month we ask people to bring with them items to be given to our local pregnancy help centers and we collect and distribute many baby items that are needed by our centers.

Below is an appeal from Sandy Slater, President of the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition with a wish list for Crossroads Pregnancy Care in Quakertown with a request for specific items needed for their clients.  Donations can be brought to our next Life Chain on Friday, August 7th.

Wish List

Thank the Lord, babies are being born and that means that we have Moms in need.  The list below comes from Crossroads Pregnancy Care in Quakertown.  Your generosity has been tremendous and very much appreciated.  The next Life Chain at Planned Parenthood will be Friday, August 6, 2021.  If you are able to make a sacrificial offering, it would very much appreciated.  As before you are welcome to bring the supplies with you to the vigil from 9:30am to 10:30am.  We thank God that babies are being born.

The tide is changing.  But please keep praying.  We are asking for daily rosaries.  Father Gill at the Cathedral said to focus on the darkness and pray the rosary.

Thank you and may God bless you.

Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition Mourns the Loss of Pro-Life Warrior, Len Cline

Life chain
The following is from Sandy Slater, President of the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition

Len Cline was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Warrington, Pennsylvania.  He and his wife Janet had six children and  they were a close and Catholic family.

Len was a pro-life activist for many years.  He was seen at many pro-life events and actively conducted many events himself.  Some of these events were the Run/Walk for Life that was run for several years by the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition in order to raise money for the support of women and their unborn child.  He, with his Respect Life group at his parish had a bus that took parishioners to the March for Life in Washington, DC every year.  To coordinate a March for Life trip is time consuming and strict on record-keeping.  But to Len the task may have been easier as he was also the treasurer for the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition for several years.  All in all Len served as treasurer for at least 15 years and was a member even before then.

Len liked to report the finances to the Bucks County Pro-Life Board because in my view, he was pleased with keeping good records in order that the Coalition would be able to meet the support of the eight area crisis pregnancy centers and homes each month with fixed amounts that were set many years ago.  He was also happy to report having conducted baby bottle and diaper fundraising drives for many years in his parish as well as the annual rose sale–all for the sake of helping the centers and homes save the lives of the unborn.  Len will be sorely missed.
The viewing will be Friday, July 9th at 9:30am, followed by the funeral mass at 11am.  Both will be held at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, in Warrington, PA, 18976.
Donations in Len’s name can be sent to  Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition, P.O. Box 7068, Penndel, PA 19047.

Please read the Code of Conduct for our Life Chain below

1 — Be humble but be bold as you stand today against the greatest injustice our nation has ever faced.
2 — In the spirit of Christian love, commit to being peaceful, prayerful, and polite, in word and deed. Any misconduct from passersby should be met with silence, which will convey your inner peace.
3 — Do not respond to motorists. Please stay silent and prayerful and your
response to any situation will be proper. Do not wave or gesture. Do not
frown or smile in response to motorists. Our mission is to pray and stand
against abortion—with the solemnity our mission deserves.
4 — Help others. Watch for mothers (and dads) who need help with children, and assist the elderly with chairs and other needs.
5 — Pick up any trash near you before leaving your area.
6 — Drive carefully, and park legally. Buddy-up, if possible, to minimize
traffic woes. Use crosswalks, and do not hold up traffic. Watch your small
children at all times. During the Chain, stand back from the street and do
not extend your sign over the curb. Give immediate passage to other
pedestrians. Only small children should eat during the LIFE CHAIN.
7 — Thank you for being a strong public witness for Christ and for being an
exemplary citizen in our local area.

Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition Sponsors Mother’s Day Rose Sale that Funds Seven Area Pregnancy Care Centers

The following message is from Sandy Slater, president of the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition, PA.

Already it is time to think about Mother’s Day and the Rose sale.  Because of the interruption that we had from March of 2020 and ongoing, the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition that supports  7 area pregnancy care centers is falling short of funds.  To date we have been able to send $2,400 to them each month.  They are A Baby’s Breath, Warminster; Blessed Margaret Home, Bensalem; Legacy of Life, Bristol, Crossroads Pregnancy Care, Quakertown; Guiding Star, Philadelphia; Our Lady’s House, Jenkintown; Moms House, Downingtown. In the near future we hope to add possibly 1 more pregnancy care center.

Donations are down due to the pandemic, but Moms in crisis still need help for their unborn as the Coalition has tried to do.  This message is being sent to the members of the coalition in the event that you do not have a Respect Life group in your Church but could speak to your pastor about the fund raiser, you do have a Respect Life group and the members would like to make a personal donation, as an individual you have not participated in the annual Rose sale before, or that you may have a Moms group that would like to do something to help other moms that are in need through the pregnancy care centers.

Your help in any way is greatly appreciated.

Checks may also be mailed to Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition, PO Box 7068, Penndel, PA 19047. Please see message below to Respect Life/Pro-Life Church Contacts from Christina Doherty.

Thank you and may God bless you.

Please Join us on Friday, March 26th for a Rally Outside Representative Brian Fitzpatrick’s Office to Protest His Vote on the Equality Act

Equality Act 2

Equality?  For whom?

  • Not for girls’ sports as they will be forced to allow boys to compete on the same teams as girls.
  • Not for medical professionals who will be forced to perform or assist at abortions and transgender procedures.
  • Not for clergy who will be forced to perform marriages for homosexuals.
  • Not for Christian schools who will be forced to hire homosexuals and transexuals to teach in their schools.
  • Not for women and children who will be forced to share bathrooms and shelters with men who ‘identify’ as women.
  • Not for the Little Sisters of the Poor who help the poorest of the poor. They will be forced to shut their doors if they don’t provide insurance for abortion, and transgender procedures.
  • Not for Christian businesses who will be forced to compromise their Christian principles or close their doors.
  • Not for parents who will lose their right to make medical decisions about their children’s gender dysphoria by normalizing hormonal and surgical interventions.

These are just some of the Americans that our Congressman chose to dismiss when voting for this bill.

Please join us on March 26th  to let Congressman Fitzpatrick know of our displeasure of this vote he cast against the family and God’s commandments. Rally begins at 11:00 am. Below is a flyer for this event.  Please print out and share with others.

You may also want to write to him and let him know how you feel.  Please be respectful when writing, but get your point across.  Here is a link to his email page on his website.

Legacy of Life Foundation asks for Baby Needs

The baby supply closet—which is usually filled with diapers, wipes, formula, and clothing for new babies—is now completely bare.

The need to raise $20,000 by April 2, 2021 to meet their unexpected budget expense and restock their supply closet. They just received matching funds that will double your cash gift up to $5,000.

You can bring your cash and/or baby supplies to the meeting. Also, as we did last month, donations can be brought to First Friday Life Chain at Planned Parenthood on March 5, 2021.

Thank You to our Pro-Life Warriors for Your Commitment to Life

Iamge 4

I am in awe of the commitment of pro-life warriors who come out to pray and give witness no matter the weather.  Today we had just shy of 2 dozen people come out for our monthly First Friday Life Chain even though the weather forecast for this morning called for snow, rain and/or a mixture of both, and the foot of snow we received the other day was still on the ground.  Several brought baby items with them to give to our pregnancy help centers.

Thanks to all who came out today and who are there every week praying and giving witness, and those who do sidewalk counseling at this abortion mill every Friday morning.   You are all amazing!

We will gather at 12:00 noon for the month of March for our First Friday Life Chain and we will continue to collect baby items for our centers.  Hope to see you there.  (List of items is below).

Just a reminder that the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition meets the last Monday of each month at A Baby’s Breath, located at 65 W. Street Road in Warminster.  Meetings begin at 6:30 pm.  Contact Sandy Slater at sandy4436@verizon.net for more information.

Here is a list of what our pregnancy help centers  need:  diapers, size newborn to size 6; baby wipes, formula (Similac Advance), baby shampoo, Desitin ointment, baby body wash, pull ups any size.
