Baby Save No. 2 in Philadelphia

Dr. Monique Ruberu sent out an email about another baby saved from abortion in two days. Here is an excerpt from the email:

The sun was shining thanks be to God, but it was so, so cold.  The kind of cold that seeps through and chills you to the bone. Joe took his reserved hour at 11:00, the 12 o’clock person had to cancel last minute, so he decided to try and stay on.

He may have thought about leaving at 1 but then Charlie and his brother Knights showed up. There is just something about praying with your friends… so he stayed on.

4 hours from the beginning of his shift. They were in the process of packing up and looking up the directions to close the vigil on their phone when a young girl approached the men.

“Can you help me?” they said, “yes, we have phone numbers for you right here!!” They immediately began writing down the help numbers from the vigil instructions.

They called the Philadelphia Community Women’s Center…they were ready to receive her immediately.  The men offered to drive her there,  but the girl said it would be better for her to go the following day.  The center set up the appointment for her, and the men continued to speak with her…

He asked if she was definitely pregnant.  She said “Yes, I was going to have an abortion but I changed my mind”

Before she left,  she turned to them and gave them all big hugs.

Suddenly the air didn’t feel so cold anymore. Each of these men were filled with such joy to have witnessed this event. Joe was so happy that he stayed and prayed.

Please keep T in your prayers, Lord help her to keep that appointment tomorrow and allow her child to live.

None of this would be possible without the sacrifice of those who prayed at the vigil today.

please join us on filling the remaining hours.

40 Days for Life has encouraged all Catholic clergy to host a holy hour to coincide with the upcoming 40 Days campaign.

Details are as follows:

All are welcome to attend a Holy Hour for Life at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral on Saturday April 6th Start time is 730PM. The holy hour will be celebrated by Father Dennis Gill, the rector of the basilica.

The holy hour will include music, rosary, reading, confession, and most importantly a chance to grow closer to our lord.

This event is sponsored by the Knight of Columbus Council 1191. For more information please email Mickey Kelly mickeykelly96@gmail.com for more information.

Please also coordinate a Holy Hour at your parish today for the end of abortion by contacting your pastor. For those of the protestant faith, please consider hosting a prayer service for the end of abortion and the conversion of those involved with the culture of death.
