Delaware County Church Vandalized

Notre Dame de Grace Parish in Swarthmore was vandalized over the weekend by pro-choice vandals.

The graffiti has since been cleaned up at a Delaware County church, but now the search is underway for the vandal.

On Sunday, parishioners at Notre Dame de Lourdes in Swarthmore, Pa. spotted graffiti on the front glass doors and a side brick wall that included the words, ‘You do not have the right to decide what people can do, #ProChoice.’

This is what we are up against. Unhinged and violent pro-choicers who would cry, complain, whine, and even resort to violent confrontations in order to get their point across. On the other hand, pro-lifers rely on prayer, fasting, education, and even works or mercy to build a culture of life.

People constantly put the will of God aside for things of this world, like comfort.

God did not put us here for comfort, He put us here for greatness.Notre Dame de Lourdes

Post-abortion retreats offer healing in multiple languages

*The following is an article from Catholicphilly.com written on Thursday, May 9th by Kevin Burke, Sr. regarding Rachel’s Vineyard. This has been republished with his permission.

A renowned post-abortion healing ministry recently marked its first decade in residence at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown.

Rachel’s Vineyard, a weekend retreat model developed by psychologist Theresa Karminski Burke, offers participants the opportunity to reflect on their abortions through group activities, discussion, and prayer. Founded in 1995, the outreach – now a ministry of Priests for Life – features over 1,000 retreats per year in 49 states and 70 countries.

Last month local site leader Evelyn Walsh and her team of volunteers celebrated the 10th anniversary of their first-weekend retreat for abortion healing at the shrine.

The group has now expanded its program to include sessions in three languages: English, Polish and Spanish.

“We were so happy to offer this first retreat in the native tongue of the pilgrims who visit this Polish shrine,” said Walsh, whose family has worshiped and volunteered at Our Lady of Czestochowa since 1963.

The Polish team had been preparing for a number of years to conduct the retreats, which have drawn attendees from a number of states throughout the Northeast. During one such gathering, attendees from both the Polish- and English-speaking retreat groups joined each other for spiritual exercises, liturgies, and meals.

(Related: Post-abortion healing ministries transform grief into grace.)

In the process, women and men from both groups discovered that despite their differences in language and culture, they shared similar spiritual and emotional wounds from their abortion experience.

“They were deeply touched by the consolation and peace of our merciful Lord,” said Walsh.

The Polish outreach is “a little flicker of a flame,” she added, noting that as word spreads, her group expects a “growing demand for our retreats.”

Walsh also said that the shrine’s clergy, who are Polish-speaking members of the Pauline Fathers and Brothers, welcome the multilingual sessions, which take place at the shrine’s Ave Maria Retreat House.

The shrine’s first Rachel’s Vineyard retreat in Spanish will take place from June 7-9, facilitated by a ministry team from Long Island, New York.

Three of the shrine’s English retreat team members are fluent in Spanish and will also be part of the team. In addition, the group is collaborating with Estela Reyes-Bugg from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Project Rachel to expand the outreach to Spanish-speaking women and men in the area.

Walsh said that the retreats also invite clergy, counselors and new team members to experience the weekend program and see if they are called to serve in the ministry. Rather than simply observe, each prospective team member must enter fully into the weekend activities.

“Even if they have no personal involvement in abortion, they bring the abortion loss of a family member, their role in friend or family member’s abortion, or some other personal loss, so they have an experiential understanding of this amazing retreat process,” said Walsh. “This is very important preparation for service in the Lord’s vineyard.”

Walsh said that the retreats are “an intimate encounter with the Lord Jesus” through Scripture, eucharistic adoration and “the spirit of love and compassion (that) deeply touches those who attend.”

In turn, she said, attendees “want to share the Good News” with others, which “has fed the growth of our Rachel’s Vineyard ministry at the shrine.”

Recap on Stand Against Bullying Rally

The hard work of many pro-lifers, such as Lila Rose, has paid off. After hearing about the videos of a so-called “State Rep.” Brian Sims harassing pro-life women was met by a thousand loving pro-lifers. Not only local pro-lifers came together but some went the extra mile (the furthest being Fort Wayne, IN. as of now).

The rally was organized by Lila Rose and her organization Live Action. Her group has helped expose Planned Parenthood from falsely advertising mammograms to the trafficking of fetal parts and everything in between.

Rose noted in her opening remarks that the event had been organized “for a much bigger reason … (to) stand for the dignity of human life,” this point was reiterated by other speakers who followed her during the rally.

Matt Walsh of the Daily Caller called for a rally in a series of tweets on Twitter. He even condemned the actions of Brian Sims.

Ashley Graechet

Ashley Garecht, the mother of the two teenage girls dox by Sims, used her time to commend pro-lifers who have done extraordinary work, despite backlash from people who disagree with them. She even knew that God wanted her to be an instrument in being present as a sidewalk advocate. She also observed that the demonstration took place just blocks from the one-time home of James Madison, a primary author of the U.S. Constitution, which enshrines “a self-evident, inalienable right to life,” she said. She also called out Rep. Sims for his lack of an apology.

In the videos, Sims claimed that pro-lifers are racists. Well, he hasn’t met Richara Krajewski, member of the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia. She used her time to acknowledge the fact that she is “a pro-life black woman”.

The real racism, as she points out is, “co-opting the language of liberation to advocate for the destruction of the lives of the most vulnerable. Real racism is a so-called white ally telling black and brown women that they need to choose between their dreams and their babies.”

Toni McFadden was another black pro-lifer at hand who shared about her abortion experience. Foundress of Relationship Matters, an organization that helps heal and honor our relationships, spoke about how it is important to develop them “so that no more babies need to die because of convenience.”

The main highlight of the rally is Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood Director in Bryan, TX, now a pro-life advocate. she wrote a memoir about her #WalkAway from the abortion industry. It is now a movie.  Johnson opened her remarks when she saw the escorts acknowledging the fact that she was once them.

She pointed out some staggering facts about the Planned Parenthood (See related post here: Planned Parenthood Facility in Center City, Defended by Re. Brian Sims, Has Failed Thirteen State Inspections) has “covering up statutory rape of minors, not sterilizing instruments that are being used woman to woman” and repeatedly failing health inspections.

“Turn your prayer into action. The fight against abortion will be won on the streets, not the halls of Congress or state houses” Johnson proclaimed.

60027514_1273375746172112_5567767638555230208_n

The rally itself shows that the pro-life community is bigger, stronger, younger, and diverse. It cares about women. It is eager to help women in their time of crisis. Many moms, including Candace with her son, was able to choose life because of the love and support of the pro-life community at large.

The pro-life movement is pushing back harder. The tide has changed. We must be willing to stand taller and be bolder everywhere we go.  We must not be afraid of anti-life bullying from public servants or average people that will verbally taunt us when we peacefully assemble outside abortion facilities, like Planned Parenthood.

The sleeping giant has awakened. It’s time to rose up and fight for life from womb to tomb.

Parents of teen girls harassed by Brian Sims raise over $100G for Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia

The following is a Fox New article by Caleb Parke. The article shares about the parents of the teens harassed by State Rep. Brian Sims fundraising response to the recent hatred spilled by him. It is republished with his permission.

The parents of teen girls harassed on camera by Pennsylvania state representatives Brian Sims raised over $100,000 for a pro-life non-profit in Philadelphia, where the Democratic official has targeted peaceful pro-lifers praying outside Planned Parenthood.

Joe and Ashley Garecht started a GoFundMe page after they realized the man who offered $100 to dox their teen daughters – 13 and 15 – on Periscope was actually an elected official, an action they called “shameful and unacceptable.”

INCREASING CALLS FOR BRIAN SIMS TO ‘IMMEDIATELY RESIGN’ FOR HARASSING PRO-LIFERS

The Garechts told Fox News they are so grateful after they launched the fundraising effort as a way to turn an ugly situation into something positive.

“It means the world to us that people have rallied around our family during this difficult time,” Mr. Garecht said. “The prayers and words of encouragement have been amazing and have sustained our entire family.”

They met their goal to help the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia Thursday, ahead of Friday’s pro-life rally by Abby Johnson and 40 Days for Life, among other pro-life leaders who plan to meet in front of the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic where Sims attacked pro-lifers.

We are beyond blessed to see people motivated to help the pro-life movement in the Greater Philadelphia region,” Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia’s president and CEO, Tom Stevens, told Fox News. “In 2018, there were 15,821 abortions performed at abortion centers in the Greater Philadelphia area alone. While our hearts are broken for the unborn and for their moms and dads, we are also filled with hope by this great outpouring of support for life.”

On the GoFundMe, Garecht challenged Sims: “Brian, if you have a problem with my wife and daughters praying outside of an abortion clinic, I’m the one you can talk to… instead of harassing teenage girls.”

Sims said “I can do better” Tuesday night in a video posted online, but he stopped short of apologizing for his actions. Planned Parenthood said it did “not condone…Sims’ approach” but called him a “champion” on pro-choice issues.

Increasing calls for Brian Sims to ‘immediately resign’ for harassing pro-lifers

The following is a Fox News article written by Caleb Parke. His article is republished with his permission.

There have been growing calls for Brian Sims, a Democratic state representative in Pennsylvania who came under fire after videos surfaced of him harassing an elderly pro-life woman, to resign.

The calls grew louder after a video emerged of him offering online viewers $100 to dox teenage girls praying peacefully outside a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood abortion clinic.

An online petition started by LifeNews.com has garnered over 9,500 signatures as of Wednesday morning.

Sims, in a video posted online after the controversy, said he “can do better,” stopping short of an apology. Planned Parenthood said it did “not condone…Sims’ approach” but called him a “champion” on pro-choice issues.

KRISTAN HAWKINS: PRO-CHOICE INSTIGATORS CROSSING THE LINE FROM HARASSMENT TO DEHUMANIZATION

Ashley Garecht, the mother of two of the teens targeted by Sims, ages 13 and 15, told Fox News they didn’t know he was an elected official when he started verbally attacking them for their skin color, religion, and political ideology.

“Just the fact that he’s an adult male interacting aggressively with teenage girls, that alone is inappropriate,” Garecht said. “Him being a politician doesn’t just supersede him being an adult man aggressively approaching teenage women.”

She added: “I would just love for people to understand the core of the pro-life movement is a prayerful movement, we want abortion to end. We want women to have a better option than abortion in their lives. This is not about aggression. I would never engage in that.”

TUCKER CARLSON: REP. BRIAN SIMS IS A FROTHING EXTREMIST — AND A TOTALLY MAINSTREAM FIGURE IN TODAY’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY

Garecht and her husband, Joe, started a GoFundMe “Show Brian the Power of the Pro-Life Movement” to help make something good come out of this, with the goal of raising $100,000 for the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia. As of Wednesday morning, they had raised about $28,000.

“This movement matters,” Garecht said. “The lives of the unborn matter. The lives of the mothers’ matter. The lives of clinic workers matter. We pray for them, and we want them to know they’re loved and to let them know they have better options than just to terminate the life of an unborn child.”

She told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that she and her daughters prayed for Sims and will continue to pray for him.

Former Planned Parenthood clinic worker-turned-pro-life advocate, Abby Johnson, challenged Sims to face her Friday in front of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The founder of And Then There Were None called him “absolutely unfit to serve.”

Johnson, along with several other pro-life leaders and organizations, are hosting an event Friday outside the Philadelphia abortion clinic, “to show that peaceful prayer volunteers cannot be silenced or bullied out of standing up for what they believe.”

‘UNFIT TO SERVE’: ABBY JOHNSON SLAMS BRIAN SIMS FOR HARASSING PRO-LIFERS

Last week, Sims went on an eight-minute video rant, verbally harassing an elderly woman protesting outside a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic.

The state representative recorded the woman outside the same clinic in Philadelphia, which is in his district, telling her to pray at home, calling her an “old white lady” and lecturing her about her Christian beliefs on the Periscope app.

This isn’t the first time Sims has done this stunt. Two years ago, he recorded two people outside the Planned Parenthood, telling them “shame on you” and encouraging people to donate to Planned Parenthood.

Rosary Campaign for Rep. Brian Sims Conversion

*The following is from an email sent out by Judie Brown from American Life League. It is republished with their permission.

We invite you to join American Life League president, Judie Brown, to pray the rosary on this page. She will be dedicating it to the conversion of Pennsylvania representative Brian Sims and for the protection of those praying in front of abortion mills.

This week we witnessed blatant and hateful attacks on peaceful protesters in front of a Pennsylvania Planned Parenthood facility. Sims, an elected official, berated a woman for simply praying the rosary. Catholics and Christians are being directly attacked for standing up for babies and their mothers.

Someone, as tormented as Sims, needs as many rosaries as he can get.

Rep. Brian Sims Doxxed for Teenage Girls Information On Holy Thursday; Father Responds

Rep. Brian Sims is making a name for himself in an unpleasant way. Last week, he harassed an elderly woman who was by herself quietly praying the rosary outside of Planned Parenthood in Center City. See article here: Open Season on Philly Pro-Lifers. as Representative Brian Sims Leads the Charge

Another video has surfaced going back to Holy Thursday of Rep. Sims outside of the same abortion facility. This time doxxing his followers for information on a pair of teenage girls from one local high school praying in front of the facility. Sims asked his followers to release the names and addresses of the teenagers in exchange for $100.

In response to Rep. Sims raising funds for Planned Parenthood, the father of one of the girls that was doxxed by the so-called “representative” takes action. He sets up a go fund me page to raise money for the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia. As of now, 30k has been raised with a goal of $100,000.

These attacks are proof that Christians are among the wolves of the world in the form of atheism, communism, radical Islam, and big government bullies.

RISE UP, CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS!!!!!
