‘Winning the war against unborn babies and their mothers #onesoulatatime’
Last Sunday as I was praying and meditating on my rosary for the intention of an end to surgical and non-surgical abortions, I was moved to pray for some of our elected officials who have little or no regard for the sanctity of life.
A few years ago we promoted a prayer campaign for abortionists, and politicians who strongly support and/or promote abortion. This campaign ran throughout the Lenten Season and was very successful. We would like to begin a similar campaign this month to pray for some of our elected officials who are so vehemently anti-life.
Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have in fighting this battle against the anti-life forces in our society. And as we are instructed by God, to ‘love our enemies’, what better way to show that love than to pray for their conversion?
Our campaign begins this coming Monday, May 11th and we hope that everyone will join with us to pray for a conversion for these misguided souls.
“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44
Voices for Life 
Praying for our elected officials is a very good idea. Not electing pro-abortion politicians in the first place is also a good option. As a Catholic it is frustrating to me that approximately half of all Catholics support abortion with their votes. I will pray for them as well.
